II.4)Short description of nature and scope of works
Tromsø Havn KF plans to announce a competition in the beginning of August for a new port terminal with an office building at Prostneset in the centre of Tromsø. The contract will be based on a turnkey model in which an interaction contract shall be signed between the cooperating actors. The description of what shall be constructed will be based on the already prepared sketch project. An architect is engaged on the basis of a previously held architect competition.
Prostneset shall be developed with a total of three buildings:
— The port terminal: Regulated gross area 6 300+3 850 m2 that will house a goods terminal, bus terminal and passenger terminal with service functions for travellers.
— Offices for Tromsø Havn KF: Regulated gross area 1 000 m2 that will primarily house office premises.
— The business building “Amundsengården“: Regulated gross area 2 800 m2 that shall include offices and business premises for rent.
Tromsø HAvn KF has ambitions for the completion of the construction project during 2016.
The main elements in the assignment are.
— Development of the project to the completed preliminary project.
— Execution
— First operational phase
The Port Authority shall approve the preliminary project and this approval is a prerequisite for the start of the implementation phase.
The contract's value is expected to be approx. 200-300 million NOK excluding VAT. The contract's length is estimated to be a total of 24-30 months.
