Sunderland City Council has a requirement for the delivery and implementation of a hosted Integrated Highways Asset Management and Street Works System and associated services.
The Council is seeking a single supplier with a proven track record in the establishment of similar solutions to act as prime contractor for the solution software and services.
Period of the Contract will be for 5 years with 2 x 12 months extension options.

The Council will be using the Open Procurement Procedure and completed ITT Responses must be returned by 12:00 noon on 1.10.2014, in accordance with the instructions in the documents. All ITT documents are available via the portal.
As part of the tender process the Council will hold a Supplier briefing day on Friday, 5.9.2014, 14:00 at Jack Crawford House, Commercial Road, Sunderland, SR2 8QR, Conference Room.

The aim of the briefing is to provide advice on submitting a compliant ITT and there will also be an opportunity to ask questions. You should confirm your intention to attend this briefing direct to elliott.briggs@sunderland.gov.uk

No Previous application or expressions of interest shall be taken as an application for the purpose of this notice. The Contracting Authority will not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest or tendering for the contract opportunity
The contract shall be considered as a contract made in England according to English Law and Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts
The estimated total value of this contract for Sunderland City Council is between GBP 150 000 and GBP 250 000 for Sunderland City Council requirements.
The period of this Contract will be 60 months with the option to extend for up to a further 2 x 12 months.
The Contract will operate to support Sunderland City Council's requirements primarily but may also be used by any other UK contracting authority (as defined in Article 1(9) of Directive 2004/18/EC and implemented by Regulation 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 No 5)) or its agent(s). These contracting authorities include (but are not limited) to other local authorities, educational establishments, police and emergency services, NHS bodies, and their agencies.
