The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of lowest price or the most economically advantageous tender (please refer to individual contract specifications for award criteria).

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: As required by Regulation 32(2) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2012, SPT will incorporate a minimum of 15 calendar day standstill period at the point of information on the award of the contract as this is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from the notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of three working days before the expiry of the standstill period.
